AFL FSM-70R kit with Cleaver, Stripper, Battery and Charger Cord

The AFL Fujikura 70R Fusion Splicer with Battery and CT30 Fiber Cleaver splices single fibers or ribbon fiber up to 12 fibers with a total splice process time of only 40seconds.

The 70R is the latest addition to Fujikura's fusion splicer range and has been specifically designed to be more ergonomic, faster and have greater durability than the 60R.

The rugged construction design adds improved reliability by resisting shock, rain and dust, allowing it to withstand a 30 inch drop test. Two of the newest features include an automated wind protector and a tube heater which has been developed for quicker ribbon splicing cycles and to reduce the number of operational steps. The unit also includes a high-resolution LCD monitor, powerful Li-ion battery for longer operation time and built in videos for on-the-go training.

It has a fixed v-groove splicing blade and a Li-Ion battery that offers up to 110 splices per charge. Automated wind protector closes to start the splicing process and opens when complete. Tube heater applies heat to both sides of the splice, resulting in a 40-second splice time.

The AFL 70R Kit includes the battery charge cord, CT30 cleaver, HJS-02 stripper, AC adapter cord, electrodes, fiber holder, USB cable, alcohol dispenser, screwdriver, sleeve loader, carry strap, quick reference guide, video instructions and a multi-function transit case with integrated work station.

The AFL S015671 Fujikura 70R Fusion Splicer is a direct replacement for the discontinued AFL S014563 FSM-60R12 Fusion Splicer.
