The EXFO Pocket Pal Visual Fault Locator is a robust, cost-effective OTDR dead-zone tool. This VFL identifies fibers from end to end and locates polished connector endfaces easily. It features a universal connector that accommodates 2.5mm ferrules for SC, ST, FC connectors.
The EXFO Visual Fault Locator includes two AAA alkaline batteries, soft pouch and wrist strap, user guide and Certificate of Compliance.
Pocket Pals are the truly affordable way to locate faults in OTDR dead zones. They identify fibers from end to end and locate polished connector endfaces easily. A red laser shines through most yellow-jacketed fibers to help you pinpoint breaks, bends, faulty connectors, splices and other causes of signal loss.
These handy locators have up to 5-km distance range and a 635-nm wavelength with excellent visibility and the highest attenuation. Pocket Pals have the best short-range visibility/price ratio.They locate faults visually by creating a bright red glow at the exact location of the fault on singlemode or multimode fibers.
Due to their small size, light weight and simple but proven design, robust Pocket Pals can accompany you anywhere even to the most demanding environments.
To ensure ruggedness, they have rubber seals, fully enclosed laser head and long-lasting on/off switch. Their extremely high efficiency guarantees prolonged battery operation for 50 hours uninterrupted.
The FLS-241 features a universal connector that accommodates 2.5-mm ferrules. Each tool is 6.875 x 1 and weighs 4.23 ounces with batteries. Includes two AAA alkaline batteries, carabiner belt clip and user Guide.

We need 1-2 days to process your order before shipping. There are two shipping methoed.
Fast Delivery: The delivery time for US, European countries the delivery will take 3-5 days.
Slow Delivery: The delivery time for US, European countries the delivery will take 7-15 days.

After we ship package, customer receive automatic email with tracking details.
* Lost Package Policy.
If a package did not arrive in 2 weeks after the shipping date, then this package is treated as Lost. In this case a new package will be shipped to the customer provided we are able to give the same items as those purchased by the customer. If we are not able to provide the same items to substitute the lost ones we will either propose to the customer similar items or refund their cost as it will be mutually agree with the customer. If one or more items neither the same nor similar are available to be shipped, the customer can request to cancel the order entirely, thus the total cost of the order including shipping and handling cost will be fully refunded.
